STRATIS IoT CEO Felicite Moorman Awarded Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencer of Real Estate Award

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -June 12th, 2019- STRATIS IoT’s, leading smart apartment technology provider, CEO and CoFounder Felicite Moorman has been selected as the Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencer of Real Estate Winner.

The Influencers of Real Estate Awards honors Philadelphia’s leading real estate professionals and celebrates their commitment to uplifting their communities.

Moorman stated, “I’m never shy about my feelings for Philadelphia. This honor is really representative of what I think is a tremendous affinity and commitment within the business community to promote each other and lift each other up. Moorman is one of the 24 selected winners out of a pool of countless nominations. The recognition for her work includes her current role as CEO and co-founder of STRATIS IoT, which is a connected building and smart apartment Internet of Things platform which first focused on  MultiFamily and Student Housing. Moorman has led the company to recognition by Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies in America (2018) and Entrepreneur 360’s Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America (Top 100 in 2016, 2017, and 2018). The company has installed its connected building software in 300,000 units across the U.S. and 15,000 units internationally. Previously, Moorman launched the GE Consumer and Home Electronics Brand Emerging Technologies Division, and prior to that created and led a national conglomerate of real estate services companies.

Moorman and STRATIS greatly value Philadelphia-based relationships. She also serves in leadership positions in the Philadelphia technology and business organizations including Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, Philly Startup Leaders, Dreamit Ventures, and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia.

The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 25, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, PA. The event agenda includes a network reception and a panel discussing the Future of the 10-year Tax Abatement. Panel discussion run by Caitlin McCabe of The Philadelphia Inquirer followed by a formal lunch.
